SCIENTIFIC
PROGRAM
The
aim of this workshop in Portoconte, within the framework of the
Elba-Max Planck Forum on Nanoscale Science and Technology occurring
yearly since 1999 (see www.fondazione –elba.org), is the
dissemination and development of nanobioscience and synchrotron
radiation. The emphasis is on current and future directions that are
perceived to have impacts on industry and also provide societal
benefits.
The modus operandi of the Forum is
a discussion and development of themes of current relevance and
concerns. The aim of the presentation is to introduce
backgrounds, areas of expertise, and areas of interests and concerns
to the participants at large.
The style of the presentations will be
informal and open to discussion.
The meeting is free,
unconstrained
and dynamic and since it is an open forum designed to be enjoyable
and intellectually stimulating. We indicate in this program only
representative topics to be discussed.
